Amy Leenheer is a self-taught abstract artist who stumbled upon painting as a method of self-expression and a means of spreading joy to others. She studied English literature and linguistics at the University of Alberta before completing a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Amy has always had an appreciation for the arts, and, prior to falling head over heels for painting, she dabbled in drawing, theatre, music, and ceramics. Her works are known for being bright, cheerful, and full of colour. She is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
